Spencer Park Trip

Today Rooms 7, 8 and some of Room 21 had their trip to Spencer Park. The purpose of this trip was to teach the children the importance of caring for our beaches and how humans have an impact on sea and coasal animals and plants.

The chidlren completed a beach scavenger hunt looking for man made and natural materials and then learnt how rubbish can affect sea creatures. They all had the opportunity to make a difference by creating a message on the beach to promote people being litter free. Here are some of the pictures for today.

We also promoted the children having the opportunity to exlore their creative side with the construction of many sandcastles and sculptures while at the beach. We were spoilt by the incredible weather and the most amazing behaviour from the children.

A HUGE thank you goes out to all our marvellous parent helpers. As without your support his trip would not have been possible!
