Week 3 Update

Hi all, What a horrid wet week we are having. Although, its great to see the weather forecast is for fine weather over the weekend! Fun Run A notice is going home this afternoon to let you know of a 'Fun Run' that we will be having at school next week. As part of our fitness and PE programme, the children have been working on their personal fitness. We thought that we would like to conclude this with the children participating in a long distance run on Thursday 30th May at 2:30pm. If the weather is unfavourable on this day, we will hold the run on Friday 31st of May. You are most welcome to come along to support your child. Home Learning I have added a link to this term's Home Learning Sheet for your reference. We are so impressed with the effort the children are putting into this each week. Keep up the great work. Year 2-4 Drama Group This is a lunchtime group that is being taught by Paulette Newton. The first activity that the children will be working on is a Beckenham School version of the 'Harlem Shake'. A notice will go home next week to let you know the day that your child will need to bring a costume to school. We will look at posting this to the blog so you can see what the children came up with. PLEA: If you have any free standing netball hoops or skateboard ramps that you would like to donate to school, we would love to hear from you. At the moment we are reviewing our playground environment and are currently looking at ways that we can add more activities for the children to do at lunchtimes.
