Buddy Reading

Over the past two weeks we have been training some of the children in our team to be buddy readers to the Year 1 students in a Rooms 3 and 4. We have discussed ways that we can help children learn to read, how to be encouraging and find out their thinking about the stories they read. Each buddy reader has been paired up and they spend 10 minutes after morning tea reading. We know this will make a difference to their learning and think its a cool way to share our love for books too!
