Saving the Sand Dunes

We had a great time today at Spencer Park. 

The children learnt about how the sand dunes play an important role along the coastline

. They found out the impact the wind and humans have on the dunes and things that we can do to care for them. While on the beach, the children could identify native and introduced plants and how these plants change the shape of the dunes.

A huge thank you goes out to our wonderful parent helpers, who did an amazing job in very hot temperatures!
