Fractions Learning

Today we had our first introduction into fractions. We found out that...
* Playing the pizza game is a good way to learn about fractions and we could understand the size.
* 1/3 is bigger that 1/4 and 1/5 because the larger number that is on the bottom (the dominator) tell us how many pieces an object has been divided in to.
* 2/4s is the same as 1/2.
* The bottom number in a fraction is called the dominator and the top number is called the numerator.

Today we played lots of games to help us learn more about fractions. Here we are in action!
