Kia ora koutou,
We are thrilled with how the children have settled into the term over the past few days even with the HOT weather and it has been great to see new friendships emerging amongst the children and parents.
Tomorrow, we plan to continue our work on 'We Care' and 'We Work Together' by involving the children in an interactive team rotation. Each of our teaching team (Mike, April, Charlotte, Katie and Paulette) have planned to take a fun activity to explore these concepts in more detail.
At this stage the activities that your child will be involved in will include:
1. Swimming or Slip and Slide
2. Craft (friendship or compliments badge making)
3. Buddy Fun (making a stress ball)
4. Mystery Team Challenge
5. Outside Co-operative Game
We know the children have had busy first week back and thought this would be a nice way to finish. Can you please make sure your child brings their togs to school and goggles if needed. We do have a plan for those children who either do not swim or do not have their togs to ensure everyone is included.
