Room 7s Super Structures

Today Room 7 was treated to a lesson on structures. Pinolpi from Science Alive came into school and taught us about frames, bracing and effective shapes for structures.















We all had to make a basic cube using Knex and from here were each given a technology challenge to build a structure for Christchurcch.
"It was pretty fun because we got to made and build lots of things." Izak
"I found out there were two ways to brace the cube, using one grey stick or making a cross with four yellow sticks." Vienna
